Kristen's Wedding Cake

One of my friends from Byu-Idaho got married today. I got to do the wedding cake and some sheet cakes to serve. (See photo... yummy huh?) It was amazing.... her wedding too of course. Haha!! It was so fun to see some of my old friends... (not old as in age old, we are all still youngsters, and nobody will tell me otherwise!) ...... it was great to catch up on their lives. I can't believe how much time has passed since I graduated. More yet evidence that I have accomplished something in my life... I have a purpose, a career, plans, and I love the life I'm living. God has blessed me immensely.

Best Adventure Ever!

This was one of the best adventures I have been on. If I had crazy epic drawing skills like Elyse or my AWESOME cousin Heather I would have drawn some crazy cartoon depicting our drive home. It included some screaming, a roller-coaster like bumpiness, and a bunch of laughter, and driving by perfectly good picnic tables.... There may even have been a couple moments where I feared for my life or wondered if we were lost. But while driving on a crazy skinny dirt road in the middle of nowhere, on the side of a cliff overlooking the valley, all in all it was the best adventure ever. Elyse and I are looking at apartments. This is the one I like most so far, only problem is that I need another roommate. Anyone know anyone looking to live in Orem, and wouldn't mind living with Elyse and I? cuz that would be awesome!

Slab pizza and Breakfast with Amber

Slab pizza was great. It exceeded my expectations. I heard it was good, but I just assumed what I heard was due to the college student hype about something new. But no! The toppings and menu choices were actually ingenious and surprisingly tasty. Loved it!

Piano Guys

These guys are awesome, are they not?!! I have fallen in love with the piano guys. Elyse and I are going to a concert Sept. 1st at Thanksgiving Point. It's gonna be epic! I'm super excited!!!

Hero

I spent a couple of hours with My Aunt Grace Last Wednesday. I got to go with her and help pick out tile for the back-splash (See photo!) that will be in her new kitchen. It was just lying there waiting for us. It was meant to be! I am super excited, can you tell. What do you think? It looks awesome huh?! I'm glad that she let me come with her. And in the future... (once it's all finished being remodeled of course!)...that she will let me cook in her amazing kitchen! I am in love with her extension, and am slightly envious of the epic pantry she's going to have! I hope they love it as much as I do! :) haha! It's nice that they decided on a remodel/extension instead of moving. Grace is my hero, and living so close to her has been a huge blessing for me as I have struggled to figure out certain things. I love her blunt honesty, advice and her love for me. I thank God for sending me to such an amazing family. It's nice having someone to talk to like an older sister, she may be the one to help me get it right one of these days!
